Alabama Craft: Tradition

Alabama Craft: Tradition & Innovation is an original APT documentary in two parts that samples the works, visions, and philosophies of seven Alabama artists: potters Jerry Brown and Charles Smith, quilters Mozell Benson and Bettye Kimbrell, glassblower Cal Breed, musical instrument maker Gene Ivey, and blacksmith John Phillips. The work of these artists draws on a sense of place and story and their arts demonstrate the commonality of the shared Alabama experience.
